Cindy Elliott, Senior Consultant

Cindy holds a bachelor’s degree from Marshall University, Huntington, WV. She is a Medical Technologist, Hemapheresis Practitioner (ASCP), and a Certified Quality Auditor (ASQ).  She has over 25 years of experience in cell therapy and was an AABB cell therapy assessor for 15 years This background provides her with extensive experience working with and interpreting cell therapy compliance and regulatory requirements, establishing cell therapy program accreditation,  donor eligibility, procurement and manufacturing processes (bone marrow, PBPC, and cord blood), developing operational and quality management processes, participating in development of a computer based cell processing system, development and initiation of validation studies and training programs, assisting in the development of clinical trials, monitoring clinical research, and data management.

As an active leader in her field, she has worked on various ISCT (formerly ISHAGE) and AABB cell therapy committees, written abstracts and participated in quality workshops at both ISCT and AABB.  From 2000-2005, she was an AABB Staff Lead Assessor in Cell Therapy.  Since 2005, she has expanded internationally and assisted in clinical trial development, oversight of Quality Management Systems, cGTP, cGMP and cGLP requirements, performing vendor internal and external audits, and gap analysis, providing quality seminars and proven guidance and leadership to international facilities (Asia, Canada, South America, and Middle East) seeking organizational initial and re-accreditation and sustainment.
